What we install
Network cabling in Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A. Single-mode and multimode fiber, terminated and tested. Aerial runs between buildings. Structured cabling, low voltage wiring, and paging and audio. New construction, renovations, upgrades and expansions — and systems somebody else installed. All services.
How we work
Every run is tested
We 4-pair test every copper run we install — every pair, every run, not a sample. Test results are provided on request.
Aerial work is ours
When cable has to cross open ground between buildings, we run it ourselves, lifts included. Very few contractors in this market self-perform aerial work.
We standardize on CommScope
Components come from CommScope, and a finished system can be certified through CommScope on request.
After hours, when the building cannot stop
We work after hours on request, quoted with the job as after-hours work, so the cost is visible before you commit.
We will take over an existing system
Undocumented runs and unlabeled panels all have to be traced before anything can be improved, so the first phase is discovery rather than installation. We do it anyway.
Anything low voltage
If it does not require an electrician, it is in scope — data, fiber, aerial, paging and audio.

Government and public-safety facilities, hospitals and clinics, and manufacturing plants each come with their own pathway rules, schedules and documentation, and we build our approach around theirs. Government & Public Safety
Dispatch centers, municipal buildings and public-safety facilities run continuously and answer to security and documentation requirements that reach down to which wall a cable is allowed to pass through. We work after hours on request, in windows small enough that no system is ever down for long. More on government and public-safety cabling.
Healthcare Facilities
Hospitals and clinics cannot lose a floor, and containment is the facility’s process, not ours to improvise. We schedule around what can close and when, and work inside whatever containment process the facility already runs. More on healthcare facility cabling.
Manufacturing & Industrial
Plant floors are hostile to cable: electrical noise, heat, vibration, and distances that exceed what copper can carry at all. We run fiber for the backbone and copper only for the last run to the device, and we install and test both single-mode and multimode fiber. More on manufacturing and industrial cabling.
Where We Work
We’ve installed cabling from Jackson, Michigan since 1992. Our main client area is Southwest Michigan, Mid Michigan, and Southeast Michigan, including metro Detroit, but we also service areas as far as Indiana, Ohio and Illinois, and a single site in a town we have not worked in before is normal for us. Serving Lansing and Metro Detroit
About forty miles north of the shop, Lansing and mid-Michigan is one of the two places outside Jackson County where our name turns up most, with named clients from East Lansing to Charlotte. We are licensed and insured, and a certificate of insurance is available any time it is requested. Where a job requires a permit, we pull it ourselves — it is part of the job, not something you have to chase down on your own.

What is the difference between Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A?
They are copper cable categories with progressively tighter specifications. Cat5e covers gigabit Ethernet, Cat6 adds headroom for 10 gigabit over shorter runs, and Cat6A holds 10 gigabit over the full 100-meter channel with much better resistance to interference — the usual choice for dense installations and for powering devices over the cable.
